This deteriorated deck girder bridge crosses the East Channel of the Mississippi, heading to Nicollet Island.
Built in 1901, the bridge features three deck girder spans, which rest on concrete substructures.
The bridge also shares an abutment with the parallel BNSF bridge. Unfortunately, the bridge is in a heavily deteriorated state. Near complete section loss can be seen in structural plates and members.
This is particularly unfortunate, because the bridge would serve as a good pedestrian crossing to access the island from Main Street, although the bridge currently serves as an unofficial trail.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
